Visiting Queenstown in Winter 2015

With Winter getting closer, it’s the perfect time to head to Queenstown and enjoy all that Queenstown has to offer! Especially with the Snow season headed our way, there are more than enough attractions for you to enjoy.

Queenstown has a lot to offer from the Skyline Luge, the AJ Hackett bungy, and the infamous ski fields.

If you’re up for an adrenaline rush, the AJ Hackett Bungy is a definite must. Comprising of a 43m bungy jump off the historical Kawarau bridge, you’re definitely going to feel that adrenaline rushing through your body. The Winter Festival kicks off on the 19th June and ends on the 28th June giving you enough time to experience all that the Winter Festival has to offer. It’ll be 9 days of pure amazingness that is packed with plenty of fun family activities, from fireworks to open the Winter Festival, an ice rink that the kids will absolutely love and great food to enjoy! If you’re after some quality family time with a lot of adventure and great food, Skyline Queenstown is definitely the place to be. The kids can spend the day zooming down the luge while the adults enjoy some delicious food and scenery at the Skyline restaurant. There is also mountain biking, walking tracks, star gazing as well as the incredible Jelly Belly shop that the kids will love!

Queenstown is known for the amazing sights and breath taking views! While you’re in Queenstown we’d recommend hiring yourself a rental car and driving around Queenstown admiring the beautiful scenery.
